I’d like to book a haircut with you, I’ve had bad experiences with hairdressers. Which stylist should I choose at your salon? All of our stylists are trained in cutting, caring for, and styling all types of textured hair, so you can feel confident booking with any of them. If you have—or are looking to get—a short haircut that involves clipper work, we recommend giving us a call beforehand so we can assist you with your booking. If you’d like help scheduling your appointment, feel free to call us or book your time online.

I’m unsure about what to do — can I book a consultation with you? A consultation is a great option if you feel you need some guidance in choosing the treatment that best suits your needs. You might want advice on how to cut your hair, or perhaps you’re considering coloring it but are unsure about which color or technique would help you achieve your desired result. If you’re thinking about getting hair extensions for the first time, we highly recommend booking a consultation in advance. This allows us to discuss the look you’re aiming for—whether it’s added length, volume, or both. Consultations are also helpful if you're uncertain about which type of braids you’d like to get, what length and if there is a specific design you desire. If you’re feeling unsure in any way, don’t hesitate to reach out. We’re here to help you.

I’d love to book a treatment with you, and I wear a hijab — do you have a private room or something similar available? We have curtains that provide privacy around the area where you’ll be seated. There are also curtains by the shampoo station to ensure you're protected from view there as well. If you’d like help booking an appointment, you’re always welcome to call us or book your time online. When booking online, we recommend adding a comment that you’d prefer a privacy-protected space.

I need to cancel my appointment — how do I do that? Cancellations can be made by calling us (leave a voicemail if we don’t answer), replying to your booking confirmation email, or sending us a message. Please note that late cancellations or missed appointments will be charged at the full price of the scheduled service.

Do you cut children's hair? Is there anything we need to consider before the visit?  We do cut children's hair, but we don’t have special pricing for kids as a haircut for a child can often take as long as a haircut for an adult, and sometimes even longer. If it turns out that it doesn’t take as much time, we can adjust the price for your next visit. When you visit us we thoroughly go over how to care for and maintain the hair at home, discuss which products to use based on the hair type, and explain how to style it to make it easier to manage. Before your visit, it's a good idea to detangle the hair so that we have enough time to cut it. For example, you can detangle the hair the night before and sleep with two braids.

How old do you have to be to get a hair relaxing treatment with you? We do not perform permanent hair relaxing treatment on anyone under the age of 16. This is because the treatment involves strong chemicals that can cause allergic reactions, especially in children, who tend to be more sensitive.

However, we do offer other treatments that are free from harmful chemicals. These can make the hair more manageable, reduce frizz and volume, and slightly loosen the curl pattern. You’re welcome to come in for a consultation so we can take a look at your hair and see how we can help. Sometimes, a nourishing treatment combined with the right products and hair care advice can make a big difference. If you’d like to book a consultation, you can always call us or book online.

Do you cut curly hair wet or dry? Is there anything to consider my visit? We normally cut textured hair dry. We kindly ask you to come with dry hair and the way you normally style your curls to allow the stylist to see your curls. If your hair is straightened or if your curls are stretched it may not show the true texture. If you have a specific cut or style in mind, please bring reference photos. This helps ensure you and the stylist are on the same page about your final look. However, remember that curly hair behaves differently for everyone, so it may look a little different than it does on the person in the photo. Your stylist can help adapt the look to suit your hair type.

Do you have a waiting list? Yes, we do have a waiting list. If you'd like to be added to it please send us an email. We’ll need to know what type of treatment you're interested in, when you'd ideally like to come in, if there are any days or times that work better for you, and whether you’re available on short notice. That way, we can contact you if a last-minute opening comes up that suits the treatment you're looking for. We also need you full name, phone number and address to make a reservation for you.

We also recommend checking our online booking page from time to time, as appointments can open up suddenly and may be booked by another client before we have a chance to reach out.
